Lucien Flavius is the main protagonist of Lucien - a fully voiced, dynamic Imperial follower with over 1600 lines of immersive, lore-friendly dialogue. A scholar by trade, Lucien is visiting Skyrim on an expedition and may be found looking for a travelling companion in Dead Man's Drink, in Falkreath. Though he is something of a coward when you first meet him, with barely enough combat skill to hold a sword, he will dynamically learn from you as you travel together, gaining both strength and confidence until he grows into a hero in his own right.

Bio
Born in 4E 180 to Lyra and Davidicus Flavius, Lucien was raised in a wealthy home in the Imperial City. From an early age, he developed a fascination with the creative arts and the pursuit of knowledge, in all its forms. History, philosophy, music, science - all were equally intoxicating to the young Lucien, and his parents poured a not inconsiderable amount of money into funding his education. He studied at every academy in the city, from the Arcane University to the archives of White-Gold Tower, and by the time he reached manhood, he was one of the most widely-read scholars in Cyrodiil. Practical skills, however, were not his strong suit. While he understood the principles of magic, he had little experience in actual spellcasting, and as for combat, "novice" was a somewhat overgenerous description.
Not to be cowed, in 4E 201, Lucien resolved to change that. Tired of reading about the world and eager to actually see some of it, he packed his things and set off for Cyrodiil's northern border, to the icy lands of Skyrim. He had no plan, no armor, no horse and no weapons, save a simple iron sword, and unsurprisingly, his journey to Skyrim was not straightforward. Nonetheless, despite the perils of the road, he made his way to Falkreath, and there he decided to find himself a travelling companion. He'd read about Skyrim - he'd read an awful lot about it, in fact - and he was not going home until he'd seen everything worth seeing that the land had to offer. And with a bit of luck, he'd make a man of himself on the way.
